Dear Keystonians,  

What a beautiful day we all enjoyed in Beijing today! Summer is in the air and as such, plans are well underway for the 24-25 school year. Coming up we will be holding elections for the next round of PTA Executive Committee leaders. This group is a mixture of Keystone employees and current Keystone parents. Parent representatives to the committee are elected for year-long terms (and may serve up to three consecutive years).  

The main goals of the PTA Executive Committee are to support school and family communication and support events that engage and strengthen our school community.  

As Keystone looks towards its 11th school year, it is a great time for family members and employees to consider this meaningful service to the school community.  

School and family partnership is important in every society and in every school culture, but it is especially important at Keystone where our educational model blends aspects from the best educational systems around the world. This means that none of our current parents or faculty have ever experienced anything exactly like a Keystone education before. As such, we must keep in close contact – exploring and learning together as employees and families -- about this amazing experience we are creating for the children.
