Enjoy Reading and Performing
Drawing on classical Chinese stories as our foundation, we ignite children's imagination by engaging them with captivating chapters from classic masterpieces such as Journey to the West and Romance of the Three Kingdoms, as well as meaningful idiomatic tales and simple yet profound classical stories. Through these, we guide students to deeply appreciate the charm of classical literature.
Building on this foundation, we encourage students to actively participate in performances, transforming written texts into vivid stage plays. By writing, directing, and acting in their own productions, students integrate their personal understanding and creativity to reinterpret classic stories.
In this process, students not only memorize famous lines but also bring the scenes from the page to life for their audience. This is both a way of learning from the classics and an effort to preserve them. Teachers, in their guidance, place special emphasis on the handling of performance details, helping students master effective expressive skills.
Through such practical activities, students gain a deeper understanding and absorption of the learning content. They also enhance their appreciation and love for traditional Chinese culture, better equipping them to pass on the essence of Chinese cultural heritage.
