Cong Huan, Professor at the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Professor of the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He completed his education and postdoctoral work at the High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China, Peking University, Boston University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and California Institute of Technology (Caltech). Focusing on organic synthetic chemistry, he returned to China in 2015 through national talent recruiting programs. His academic achievements include the American Chemical Society’s Kenneth G. Hancock Memorial Award, the Thieme Chemistry Journals Award in Germany, the Chu Yuet Wah Outstanding Teacher Award of CAS, and Chinese Chemical Society’s Lectureship Award for Creative Young Supramolecular Chemists.
Hu Zhongjun, Professor at the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, specializing in large-scale helium cryogenic technology. He has led over ten research projects, including the national major equipment project for scientific research. His accomplishments have been recognized with the Science and Technology Progress Awards from Beijing, Fujian, and Jiangsu Provinces, as well as Outstanding Science and Technology Achievement Prize of CAS. He actively participates in science education activities and currently serves as the chief scientist of the scientist spirit lecture team of the Chinese Association of Refrigeration.
